Rebellious - to a "T"
A number of years ago I first visited the North American Continent to give a paper at a conference in Toronto. At an awards ceremony later I was given an "off the cuff" award of "Honorary Revolting Colonial" for my forthright views about matters Scots' as they pertained to matters English.
So you will understand why I am rather taken with the views of Ian Hamilton QC on his blog
Ian - in case you don't recognise the name - was responsible for - amongst other things - removing the Scot's ceremonial throne from beneath the throne of Westminster Abbey in London on Christmas Day 1950 and liberating it back to Scotland. You gotta love someone who can get away with something like that.....
