The table was to hold a small home office printer. Storage under was designed around a specific shredder and canvas storage bins. The table had to visually match a 1930's wood file cabinet and desk which it would sit between.

The top and shelves were biscuit joined from narrower boards. The rest of the construction was mortice and tenon or 45-degree angled mortices. The back was a thin piece of plywood with red oak veneer. Top was pegged in place.
